Died: Saturday, January 3, 2015

 

 

Clyde was a Gentle Giant through & through. My very first horse. I can't begin to say all that he meant to me. He was a restorer of confidence. A warm shoulder to snuggle up to on a cold day. A big teddy bear of a guy. Loyal & trustworthy. Calm & dependable. Just breathing in his sweet earthy horse scent made all the cares of the day melt away & restored my joy & peace.

I loved just being around him. Watching him do his thing. Star gazing, soaking up the sun, getting drenched in the rain, enjoying a calm gentle breeze or watching the snowflakes drift to the ground. He was a friend in all seasons of the year & in life. I love him still & will always miss him.

 

I'm glad that he was able to be a part of my first ever HORSE cRaZy Summer Day Camp. The girls has a blast giving him his makeovers & feeling so tall sitting up on his back. :o) I know that I am not the only one who will miss that big guy. He made an impression on nearly everyone he met.
