Summer Day Camp for Girls
Registration Begins:
Alyssa Kline ~ Jr. Camp Assistant

Alyssa is one of my Jr. Camp Assistants. She possesses a natural ability to work with horses by maintaining a gentle respect & calm nature that is essential for riding & training.
She is responsible for helping to supervise the campers during activities. She is my extra set of hands & eyes to help keep campers safe & making memories that will last a lifetime.
Alyssa will also be available from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the extended hours child care, if needed.
When Alyssa's not helping at camp she also enjoys: Track, Karate, 4-Wheeling, Swimming, Knitting, Hunting, Camping, Babysitting & Playing the Piano.
Alyssa is a remarkable young lady & I'm so glad to have her on my team!

MEET THE STAFF
Kelly Knight ~ Camp Director

My Horse Experience:
-
I took horseback riding lessons in the summer of 2003 & helped clean stalls to offset the cost of my lessons.

In 2007, I bought my first horse (Clyde) at the age of 26.
-
Ginger became a part of our family in 2009.
-
Rhett joined our family after Clyde passed away in 2015.
-
Prior to purchasing Clyde I had been assisting a friend with the daily management & care of her herd of 14 horses & 1 donkey.
-
More recently (2010-2012) I volunteered at the Refuge Ranch in Pawnee, IL as a mentor in their program that pairs at-risk children with abused & neglected horses. In the mentoring program, children are taught beginner horsemanship skills.

I started the HORSE cRaZy Summer Day Camp for Girls in the summer of 2014.

I also continue my horse eduation by watching various training videos & reading articles & books about horses.
Jade Reiter ~ Jr. Camp Assistant

Jade shares my love for horses & photography. She has been learning about both through her experiences helping at HORSE cRaZy Summer Day Camp.
She is responsible for helping to supervise the campers during activities to ensure that they have a safe & memoriable experience at camp. She also helps capture those memories in photographs to share with the friends & family members of our campers.
Jade is also available from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the extended hours child care, if needed.
When Jade's not helping at camp, she also enjoys: Indoor/Outdoor Soccer, Basketball, Photography & 4-Wheeling
It has been fun watching Jade learn & build on her horsemanship skills. She has been a great asset to our team!
